Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany on the 12 June 1929. She was raised by Otto Heinrich Frank and Edith Frank. She had two siblings, Margot Frank and Buddy Elias. It was until 1939 when the World War II started. She was in Germany and she was in a Jewish family. They fled to Amsterdam, where her mother enrolled Anne and Margot to a school. They went to a school called Montessori School. There they had problems with speaking dutch but soon Margot was the star of the class. Anne had no lot of friends but got together with a girl named Hannah Goslar who would later be one of Anne's best friends. When the Nazis started coming into the city they decided to hide. They went into a secret room behind their bookshelf. It was called a Secret Annex. They hid there for a while. It was hard because they had to keep quiet at all times. Even a small footstep could attract any Nazi soldier. They couldn't even flush the toilet if thry needed to. They were slowly joined by others in hiding. There were mostly Jews but there weren't much people at all. At one point there were some Germans that came in. At first Anne's fsmilywas scared. They the Germans showed that they came in peace and were wanting to help. The Germans were indeed, V-E-R-Y H-E-L-P-F-U-L!!! Everyday Anne Frank write in her diary. She talked about how she was feeling and what was happening outside. This continued for about a year or so. The final few months of World War II were just edges away. Then one day the cupboard suddenly opened and what they meet was not expected...
